President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in Bernard Mohammed Doro and Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh as new members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), expanding his cabinet in line with the government’s renewed focus on national development.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, and was attended by top government officials and aides.

Doro and Udeh were confirmed by the Senate earlier in the week after being nominated by the President. While Bernard Doro is expected to oversee a yet-to-be-announced portfolio in the economic sector, Kingsley Udeh is reportedly being considered for a position in education or innovation, reflecting Tinubu’s emphasis on youth empowerment and economic reform.

In his brief remarks after the ceremony, President Tinubu urged the new ministers to “serve with transparency, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to national progress,” reminding them that Nigerians expect results, not excuses.

The appointment of Doro and Udeh brings the total number of ministers in Tinubu’s cabinet to 47, marking one of the most diverse federal executive councils in Nigeria’s recent history.
