Public Analyst Yeigagha Condemns Baseless Attacks on Tantita Security, Maton Engineering
By Monday Peters, Abuja
A public analyst Engr Yeigagha Henry JP has expressed concern over coordinated attacks on Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited and Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, describing them as baseless and politically motivated.
The statement highlights the significant impact of Tantita’s pipeline surveillance efforts on Nigeria’s oil production, noting a rebound in production figures and dismantling of thousands of illegal tapping points.
“The contracts awarded to Tantita and Maton Engineering are lawful and performance-based, with due process and federal approvals governing their operations”, he added.
He accused critics of spreading misinformation and inciting unrest, warning that manufactured instability risks reversing gains made in regional security.
Engr Yeigagha called on the Federal Government to investigate sponsors of the misinformation campaigns and protect lawful contractors.
The statement concluded that the campaign against Tantita and Maton Engineering appeared to be driven by entitlement politics and ambition, rather than accountability.
