Decline in Terrorism: WAYC Hails Tinubu’s Leadership

In a significant milestone, the West African Youth Congress (WAYC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its tireless efforts in combating terrorism, resulting in a decade’s record decline in terrorist activities.

In a Press statement signed and made available to newsmen by Ambassador. Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, Secretary-General/Head of Mission West African Youth Congress.

President Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to addressing the nation’s security challenges have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.

“The appointment of Malam Nuhu Ribadu as the National Security Adviser has brought strategic leadership to the forefront of Nigeria’s security efforts.

The statement added that “Under Ribadu’s coordination, security agencies have demonstrated unprecedented synergy and intelligence-sharing capabilities, crucial in dismantling terrorist networks across the region.

“His methodical approach to national security, drawing from his extensive experience in law enforcement, has revitalized counterterrorism operations and established a comprehensive framework addressing both immediate threats and root causes of insecurity.

The WAYC also extends its commendations to the Chief of Defense Staff, General. Christopher .Gwabin Musa, and the entire military institution for their patriotism, dedication, and commitment to protecting the nation.
