Senate Confirms Oyedele As Minister

Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mr Taiwo Oyedele as a Minister of the government of the federal republic of Nigeria, after being screened at the committee of the whole.

During the screening, Oyedele answered questions with regards to growing the economy away from the current state of concentration of making it stable.

He said beyond increasing revenue, funding must be prioritized to achieve the desired impact in productivity and growth.

Being strategic in all situations he says is key to avoid economic pitfalls due to internal and global pressure.

Mr Oyedele before this appointment was the Chairman of the Presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms, which midwife the four tax reform laws.
