Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Passes Away at 68

Former Delta North Senator, Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi, has passed away at the age of 68. Details surrounding his death are yet to be disclosed.

Nwaoboshi was a proud son of Delta State and a fearless advocate for the Anioma cause, whose contributions to nation-building will be remembered.

He had a notable tenure in the National Assembly, where he chaired the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, emphasizing his dedication to the development of the Niger Delta and Delta State. His distinguished political career included serving as a two-time Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, rooted in a legacy of selfless service, commitment to democratic principles, and devotion to his people.

The late senator was described as a courageous, loyal, and dedicated leader whose life was devoted to public service. He leaves behind a lasting legacy and the condolences of all whose lives he touched.
