Sowore demands urgent release of Nnamdi KANU

Omoyele Sowore, African Action Congress’ candidate for president in 2023, has once more called for the urgent release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the IPOB.

Sowore who is an advocate for human rights stated that the supreme court must demonstrate courage and stop their act of impunity.

The activist according to his tweet on his tweet handle said that the court must obey the law and stop the lawless illegitimate Nigeria president, Muhammadu Buhari who is floating court ruling.

“#FreeNnamdiKanuNow The Supreme Court of Nigeria must demonstrate courage today and stop the impunity of the lawless, inhuman and illegitimate Muhammadu Buhari flouting of court rulings. Let Mazi Nnamdi Kanu go! #Revolutionnow” he wrote

The appeal of the Biafran leader who had been imprisoned for the previous two years would be heard by the supreme court starting today, April 27, 2023.
