Suspected ‘Internet Fraudster’ Crushes 4 to Death in Ondo

Angry mob set the vehicle ablaze as a suspected internet fraudster, also known as yahoo boy crushes four persons to death in Ondo

The accident occurred in the Ljoka area, in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to an eyewitness, the victims were crushed to death by a yet-to-be-identified ‘Yahoo boy’

“The Yahoo boy was driving a Toyota car along the road and suddenly lost control to crush the victims who were on commercial motorcycles also known as Okada.”

It was learnt that the Police officer, who rescued the driver from the mob, declined comment.

The deceased was later taken to the state hospital mortuary while those injured were treated at the same hospitals.

One of the policemen later stated that the driver was taken to the state police command headquarters for questioning.

As of the time of filling this report, The state police spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, hasn’t made any comment.
