Tantita Dissociates Self from Alleged Misconduct By Former Staff, Reaffirms Commitments In Fight Against Oil Theft

The Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Ondo State Operations, has issued a public notice announcing the disengagement of Mr. Owoyele Omotuyi Joseph, a former staff member, following allegations of misconduct and actions deemed to be in violation of the company’s operational and ethical standards.

According to the statement dated December 5, internal findings revealed WhatsApp communications, payment receipts, and other documentary evidence suggesting Mr. Owoyele’s involvement with individuals engaged in illegal bunkering activities and purported negotiation of bribes, actions contrary to the company’s values and policies.

The management has emphasised that Mr. Owoyele no longer represents Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in any capacity and warned members of the public, partners, and stakeholders to cease dealings with him.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, operational discipline, and protection of Nigeria’s critical assets, stating it will take necessary legal or administrative actions to safeguard its reputation and ensure accountability.

The public notice serves as a disclaimer of liability for any transactions or dealings with Mr. Owoyele, effective immediately.

The statement read, “Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd, Ondo State Operations wishes to formally notify the general public that Mr. Owoyele Omotuyi Joseph is no longer in the employment of our organisation. His disengagement followed internal findings of alleged misconduct and actions considered to be in violation of the company’s operational and ethical standards.

“During a review process, certain WhatsApp communications, payment receipts and other documentary evidence attributed to Mr. Owoyele came to light, in which he allegedly discussed engaging with individuals involved in illegal bunkering activities and purportedly negotiating bribes. These actions, are contrary to the values, policies, and integrity that Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd stands for.

“We wish to emphasize that Mr. Owoyele Omotuyi Joseph no longer acts on behalf of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in any capacity. As such, members of the public, partners, and stakeholders are strongly advised to cease any dealings with him under the belief that he represents our organisation.

“Any individual or group who chooses to transact with him does so entirely at their own risk.

“Tantita Security Services Nig. Ltd remains fully committed to transparency, operational discipline, and the continued protection of Nigeria’s critical assets. We will not hesitate to take legal or administrative actions necessary to safeguard our reputation and ensure accountability”. It asserted.
