The Chief of Army Staff visit Zamfara

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Waidi visits Zamfara state as part of his ongoing maiden operational visit to access the troops.
Lt. General shu’aibu waidi said the visit is to understand the challenges faced by the troops and appreciate their work under circumstances.

“The visit involves receiving a detailed brief from the theater commander outlining these challenges. Lt. Gen. Shuaibu said.
The COAS encourages the troops to uphold the core values of the Army to tackle the numerous challenges confronting Operation Fasan Yamma.

Gen. Waidi emphasizes the noble nature of the soldiers’ work in ensuring people can go about their normal daily businesses.
He also listened to the challenges faced by the Special Boat Service personnel.
“We will be given top priority to welfare to enable you perform your jobs effectively. The COAS said.

The COAS acknowledges the myriad of challenges confronting the Operation Fasan Yamma Area of Responsibility and assures that these challenges, along with those of the Special Boat Service personnel, will be tackled going forward.
The COAS is accompanied by the Chief of Staff, represented by the Chief of Operations and the land component.
