Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications, Olorogun (Barr.) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has congratulated the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Michael Omeru (CON), Ogurimerime Ukori I, on the occasion of his 13th coronation anniversary, describing the revered monarch as a royal father of rare grace and grandeur whose reign has ushered in a golden era for the kingdom.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen on Sunday, Oghenesivbe said that in the annals of Agbon’s rich and storied heritage, few reigns have shone with such radiance and purpose as that of Ukori I.
He noted that the monarch’s thirteen years on the sacred throne of his forebears represent not merely the passage of time, but a triumphant era marked by peace, stability, unity, and measurable progress across the kingdom.
According to the Bureau Chief, Ukori I has demonstrated the calm authority of a seasoned patriarch and the foresight of a statesman, steering Agbon Kingdom through changing seasons with uncommon wisdom. He emphasized that under the monarch’s royal stewardship, peace has deepened, unity has been strengthened, and development has moved from promise to tangible reality.
Oghenesivbe further stated that the kingdom’s rising political relevance and expanding infrastructural landscape stand as enduring testaments to the monarch’s stabilizing influence and visionary leadership. Since ascending the ancient throne, he said, the revered sovereign has inspired a renewed drive for socioeconomic advancement and cultural renaissance, elevating Agbon Kingdom to enviable heights.
He added that visible development strides, including critical road projects and other infrastructure championed by the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, reflect a kingdom in forward motion, flourishing under a crown guided by wisdom and anchored in service.
“As drums roll to commemorate this 13th coronation anniversary, this is not merely a celebration of years, but a celebration of legacy, a reign defined by honour, a throne dignified by vision, and a kingdom elevated by peace. Long may this golden era endure,” Oghenesivbe stated.
Oghenesivbe reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and total commitment to the shared aspirations for the socioeconomic, political, and cultural advancement of Agbon Kingdom.
He concluded with prayers for the monarch’s continued peaceful reign, sound health, divine protection, and enduring wisdom, expressing hope that his legacy will resonate gloriously through generations yet unborn.
