Troops Arrest Wanted IPOB Commander, Eight Others in Ebonyi, Imo

Troops of Operation Udoka have apprehended a wanted commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), identified as Gentle, along with eight other suspected criminals in Owerri West, Mbaitoli, and Izzi areas of Imo and Ebonyi States.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, disclosed this during the biweekly defence media briefing held in Abuja.

He also outlined other recent successes recorded by the Armed Forces in various operations across the country.

Major General Kangye reaffirmed the military’s commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity and ensuring national security.
