Two factory workers bag 5 years imprisonment for stealing Chicken wings

Two factory workers, Seidu Karim and Rashid Abdullahi working at Pizzaman has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for stealing Chicken wings and cooking oil.
It was reported that Karim and Rashid stole 20 boxes of chicken wings and two gallons of cooking oil from the company’s warehouse located at Nyankyerenease in Kumasi Ghana.
ASP Jonas Newlove, the prosecution officer told the court that the complainant who is the executive chef of Pizzaman received a call from his warehouse manager that eight boxes of chicken wings and two cooking oil have been stolen from the warehouse.
The chief chef upon receiving the call checked through their daily stock and discovered truly the items were missing, and an emergency meeting held in which the workers were told to provide the stolen items.
During the investigation, Rashid stated that he saw Seidu hiding two gallons of Cooking oil at the back of the company’s fence.
However, the items were recovered and they were handed over to the police for prosecution.
Seidu confessed that he has stolen 20 gallons of Cooking oil within 2 months from the company.
Seidu and Raswere were, however, charged five years imprisonment by the Kwadso circuit court.
