By Joseph Bienbo, Warri
The hospitality scene in Delta State is about to get a major boost as BON Hotel Udu, popularly known as BON Hotel De Tranquil, prepares to officially open its doors tomorrow, Friday. Located at KM 12 DSC Aladja Expressway, Igbiki Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area, the new facility is positioning itself as one of the most ambitious hospitality projects in the region.
The hotel has attracted public attention in recent weeks, largely because of its impressive lineup of facilities. Residents who toured the site ahead of the launch described it as a fully equipped luxury destination, complete with a standard swimming pool, a modern gym, and even a mini stadium designed to support football and recreational activities. For many, the scale of the project signals a new benchmark for hotels in Delta State.
Tomorrow’s grand opening is expected to draw guests from within and outside the state. The program includes guided tours of the hotel’s rooms and suites, showcasing contemporary designs and amenities tailored for business travelers, families, and leisure guests. The management has also lined up a mix of entertainment, live music, and a curated food and drinks experience.
Early visitors will enjoy special discounts and promotional packages designed to introduce the brand to the local market.
The opening of BON Hotel De Tranquil is coming at a time when Udu is expanding economically and socially, and this project could shift the hospitality landscape in the area. Its facilities suggest an intention to compete not just locally but with major hotels across Southern Nigeria. If the management follows through on its promise of quality service, the hotel may quickly become a central hub for events, tourism, and corporate activities in the region.
