UNICIEF donates 5000 climate changes and early learners materials to Zamfara, ZSUBEB Distributed instructional materials

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State reiterated his commitment to transform the education system in the state for a better society.
The Governor made this known to journalists while launching instructional materials for teaching and learning which is to be distributed across 14 Local Government Areas of the state for free.
“knowledge as the central for rebuilding society, no society will develop with poor and improper conditions of learning. Productive leaders and administrators, Doctors, Engineers, construction sites, farmers adopting technological methods, Teachers and proper societal well being were all products of an excellent education system and we are committed to achieve that. Gov. Dauda said.
The Governor also showed his appreciation for the contributions of the development partners, Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), United Nations Children Educational Trust Funds (UNICIEF).
“We are building roads and bridges to connect our markets and opportunities, but we also need educated youth who can utilize these services for societal development.
“We’re investing in digitalization and governmental reform to bring transparency and efficiency. Gov. Lawal said.
Speaking, the National Executive Secretary of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) represented by Muhammad Nafi’u Yusuf said, the commission is ever ready to collaborate with all states in the country to transform Basic Education and Zamfara State in particular.
Muhammad Nafi’u Yusuf also pleaded for the state Government to remodel the Zamfara state Universal Basic Education (ZSUBE) Training center.
The Chairman Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board Professor Nasiru Anka expressed his gratitude for the state Governor’s intervention and passion for the transformation of the state Basic Education system.
“Governor Dauda Lawal continued support led to 95 percent success of the just concluded NECO Common Entrance Examination. Nasiru Anka said.
Professor Nasiru Anka further applauded the unwavering support from UBEC and UNICEF for providing essential resources, which will undoubtedly enhance the quality of education in schools.
“To our partners, collaborators, and volunteers, your dedication and commitment to improving education outcomes are truly commendable. Your efforts will have a lasting impact on the lives of our students and teachers.
Prof. Anka also described the endorsement as an initiative that will shape the future of children for meaningful development in the lives of students and teachers in the state and as well a testament to the importance of collaborative efforts in driving educational progress.
Earlier in his welcome address, the state commissioner for education, Malan Wadatau Madawaki represented by his permanent secretary highlited some of the state Government achievements on education system.
