VP, Ribadu, APC Chairman, Governors Storm NASS As Tinubu Presents 2026 Appropriation Bill

The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as well as governors of Lagos, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Benue, Ogun, Cross Rivers, Rivers, Niger, Kwara and others have accompanied President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the National Assembly for the presentation of the 2026 Appropriation Bill on Friday.

The President is at the National Assembly to present the N58.7 trillion budget estimates for the 2026 fiscal year to the joint sitting of the House of Representatives and the Senate on Friday.

It could be recalled that, the National Assembly had earlier passed the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper 2026-2028 (MTEF/FSP 2026-2028) which heralded the presentation of the Appropriation Bill.

The President had also earlier presented a request to the two chambers of the National Assembly to consolidate the 2024 and the 2025 budgets Capital components.
