Warri Delineation: Arerepade Daniel dismisses Ogbe-Ijoh claims of ownership of Ugbanabou, says Mamamu not conversant with historical facts

Following the controversy surrounding the ownership of Ugbanabou community in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, a revered youth leader in the Niger Delta from Diebiri, Comr Kingdom Arerepade Daniel has debunked what he described as false claims of the Ogbe-Ijoh ownership of Ugbanabou community, warning for the umpteenth time that Ugbanabou belong to the Diebiri people and that any body laying false claims to Ugbanabou was an aggressor.
He stated this while addressing newsmen in Warri in view of a report authored by Amb. Bene Youkere Mamanu in some online news platforms, laying false claims to the Ugbanabou community.
According to Comrade Arerepade Daniel, “every land matter comes with historical facts and not just issues you go to newspaper or social media to claim falsely. Land matters are very sensitive and delicate and if not handled well, it may distorts peaceful coexistence amongst neighbours. It is not a matter to be allowed for young people like Amb Bene Youkere Mamanu who arrogate to himself the title of Chief/Leader without knowing the implications of false ownership claims of land and it resultant effect to make unguided claims”.
Speaking further, Comr Kingdom Arerepade Daniel called on the Ogbe-Ijoh people to caution every Tom, Dick and Harry who speaks for them like Amb. Bene Youkere Mamanu with false claims of people’s land.
He emphasised that Ogbe-Ijoh doesn’t have every land in Warri South West, and there were boundaries to ownership of land amongst various communities in the local government area.
Arerepade stressed, “Ogbe-Ijoh doesn’t have every land in Warri South West, and there are boundaries to ownership of land amongst various communities in the local government area.
The imaginary ownership of all the lands in Warri South West by some of these young men like Bene has made the Ogbe-Ijoh people appear the most aggressors to their neighbours overtime”.
