The Warri federal constituency Youth O’Clock Movement, led by Comrade Hon. Daniel Ezekiel Perel, has issued a press statement expressing deep concern over the National Assembly’s failure to act on electoral reform. The group demands immediate legislative action to protect and strengthen the Electoral Act, citing the need for credible elections and democracy.
In the statement, the movement accuses opposition members of being complacent and prioritizing political calculations over the people’s trust. “Democracy cannot survive without credible elections. Opposition politics without courage is useless,” the statement reads.
