Warri Group Calling for Cancellation of Tantita Contract is Bunkery Organization -N’Delta Activist

A Niger Delta youth leader, an Oil and Gas activist known as the ORACLE OF OML42 field, Comrade Peter Ofoghan totally condemned the baseless, witch-hunting and politically motivated protest and petition from Warri Indigenous People Movement(WIPM) to the National Security Advisor to cancel TANTITA contract, describing it has a failed move and conspiracy.

The Niger Delta advocate further described the WARRI INDIGENOUS PEOPLE MOVEMENT as a bunkery organisation that had vowed to cripple Tantita Security Services Limited for destroying their illegal oil facilities and camps in the Warri river and Obodo axis.

He said, “As an Oil and Gas activist and a former executive member of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, I can tell you for free that the organisers of the group known as WARRI INDIGENOUS PEOPLE MOVEMENT was a bunkery organisation that has vowed to cripple Tantita Security Services Limited for destroying their illegal oil equipments and camps in the warri river and obodo axis.

According to him, Oil field producers, Terminal operators, Traditional Rulers and the youths of the Niger Delta have continued to celebrate and thank Mr president for the award of the pipeline security contract to TANTITA, describing it as a right peg in the right hole to save the Nation oil and gas infrastructure and ecosystem.

He emphasised that there has been evident that Nigeria as a nation was almost going to extinction as a result of Crude oil theft activities on the waterways, vandalization of wellheads, manifolds and export pipelines by enemies of the nation such as WIPM sponsors hiding under the itsekiri ethnicity, noting that the itsekiri nation was a big beneficiary of Tantita operations with over 3000 youths drawn from all the communities that made up their kingdom down to the benin river are actively engaged.

“The surge in Oil output witnessed today was as a conscious effort by bold individuals putting their lives on the line to take the war against oil theft alongside other security agencies, to the doorstep of oil thieves no matter how influential they are in the society, Nobody or organisation was able to achieved this milestone prior to the engagement of TANTITA SECURITY SERVICES LIMITED, Chaired by High Chief Dr Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo.

“Today, we see oil and Gas companies celebrating an increase in production in their various fields, export lines are free of vandalism which have, in turn, manifested in the nation’s daily output of over 2 million barrels per day.

“The Trans Forcados Pipeline has witnessed tremendous improvement in setting an increase in production from OML 30, OML 42 and other assets that leverage the TFP for crude evacuation. Other critical export lines under the cover of TANTITA Security Services have not witnessed theft, damage, and environmental hazards.

“The combination of physical patrols, aerial surveillance, and advanced technologies like drones and monitoring system on the nation waterways by TANTITA is no doubt a big threat to oil thieves who adopted the new system of hiding under the PIA and ethnicity politics to blackmail NNPCL, Mr president and office of the National Security adviser to continue their illicit business.

“Before now no firm has been able to engage grassroots stakeholders drawn from all ethnic groups across the niger delta like Tantita has done not only to give everyone and ethnic groups sense of belonging but to ensure that the business of save guarding the nation asset rest on the shoulders of every youths, fathers and mothers to sustain the peace in the region.

“Social corporate responsibilities carried out by TANTITA across ethnic divide in the country has never been seen or heard from a surveillance firm in the past and present.

“Individual empowerment programs have lifted over 4 million families out of hardship, Lives have been saved from its Medical outreach initiative, Our markets and women are experiencing imaginable peace, unity and joy courtesy of Tantita Security Services Limited. These were indeed the promises of Mr president to Nigerians and as a critical stakeholder in the oil business, we are proud of Tantita for being a vessel to fulfil the Renewed Hope Agenda and still reaching out to more Nigerians to change the narrative of the ordinary man in the region that illegal oil activities were the only means of survival.

“We have always known that a day like this will come from enemies of the region and peace because it is no longer business as usual for them. Warri Indigenous People Movement has failed, hiding under ethnicity and territorial games to destroy the country economy and destabilise the APC administration led by our ever working president, His excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR will not work. They should change tactics.

“I called on the National security adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to as a matter of fact declare the organisers of the protest and WIPM wanted. Their actions if not tamed, will destroy the peace in the niger delta and give for others to perpetuate bunkering activities to fund political parties who have vowed to take Nigeria backward. I trust your intelligence and judgement always, as you are known to be an upright man known for fighting any form of criminal activities for the betterment of Nigeria”.
