Your Partner Should Also Have Your Period Tracker on His Phone — Author Toni Tone
By Micheal Chukwuebuka
Author and media personality Toni Tone has advised couples to improve intimacy and emotional understanding by sharing access to period-tracking apps, saying partners should actively follow menstrual cycles to better support one another.
Speaking candidly about her marriage, Toni Tone revealed that her husband also keeps a period tracker on his phone so he knows when she is on her period and when she may need extra care, affection, or emotional support.
“Maybe this is TMI, but my husband also has the period tracker app on his phone,” she said, explaining that the arrangement helps him prepare mentally and physically while being more attentive to her needs.
According to the author, the app allows her partner to know when to bring treats, offer hugs, and provide comfort items like a hot water bottle during her cycle. She added humorously that it also helps him recognize when she is at her “most excitable.”
Describing the idea as a relationship “life hack,” Toni Tone encouraged sexually active couples to embrace openness and communication about menstrual health, arguing that shared awareness can strengthen connection and understanding.
