Zamfara Federal Lawmaker receives more than 2000 PDP decampees

No fewer than 2500 decampees from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other minor parties were received by Zamfara Federal Lawmaker representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji.

Welcoming the decampees in Gusau the state capital, Jaji said, APC is strong in Zamfara state and will continue to be strong but the party leaders need to put their heads to gather and restore the lost mandate and glory of the party.

“Sentiment and selfish interest is the burning issue of Zamfara APC and need to be address squarely. Jaji said.

The Federal Lawmaker also showed his appreciation on how the decampees subscribe to his ideology and slogan “Jajiya Amana”.

“2000 decampees were all from the state ruling party PDP while the remaining 500 were from minor parties and some APC members of other camps in the state also joined my train. Jaji said.

The Federal Lawmaker further reaffirmed his readiness to embrace reconciliation in order to seal off the party grievances but with strict condition of general interest of the electorates.

Jaji also kicked against the zoning formula in choosing the party Governorship Candidate describing it as a sign of weakness.

“I am vehemently against the zoning formula because to me it is a sign of weakness but let always put people interest and decisions ahead to be our focus not personal. Jaji said.

Speaking of the recent romances of his close associate to the state minister of Defence Bello Matawalle’s camp, Jaji said, Hon. Zarumi was there on the minister’s invitation as Zamfara State citizen not to join his team.

“The minister is the romancing Hon. Zarumi and he invited him just to send a message to me that, we shall join hands to gather but I objected to the minister’s request and told him that, we need to prioritize people mandate not our own personal interests. Jaji said.
