Zamfara Health Commissioner Participates in Strategic Governance Workshop in UK.

Zamfara State Commissioner for Health, Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, has successfully completed a high level Strategic Governance and Resilience Workshop at Coventry University in the United Kingdom, alongside Governor Dauda Lawal and other top government officials.

The workshop brought together key members of the Zamfara State leadership, including the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Principal Private Secretary (PPS), Economic Adviser, and the Executive Secretary of ZITDA, with the aim of strengthening governance capacity through research driven policymaking and strategic leadership.

Speaking on the significance of the programme, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun noted that the training would enhance effective health sector planning and policy implementation in the state.

She emphasized that adopting global best practices in governance and resilience would further improve healthcare delivery and strengthen the overall health system in Zamfara State.

The participation of the Health Commissioner in the workshop underscores the state government’s commitment to building a resilient healthcare system and ensuring improved service delivery for the people.

The workshop is expected to positively impact policy formulation and contribute to sustainable development across Zamfara State, particularly in the health sector.
