Zamfara reassures its commitment to partners with UNICIEF in Health sector

The Zamfara State Government meets with UNICIEF to strengthen collaboration in the Health sector aimed at promoting efficient service delivery across the state.

The Secretary to the state government, Mal. Abubakar Nakwada Gusau received the UNICIEF delegations Sokoto field office, led by the Chief of the Field Office, Dr. Michael Juma at his office, Jibril Bala Yakubu Secretariat complex, Gusau.

Mal. Abubakar Nakwada who posted on his social media handle, showed the unwavering commitment of the state government in promoting health care services.

“Today, I received a delegation from UNICEF, led by Dr. Michael Juma, Chief of the Field Office, Sokoto, on a courtesy visit in my office.

“Our discussions were centered around key areas of collaboration between UNICEF and the Zamfara State Government, focusing on the thematic areas of Health, WASH, Child Protection, Nutrition, Social Protection, and Education. Nakwada said.

The Secretary to the state government also said, UNICEF has always been a partner in progress with the Zamfara State Government.

“I assured them of the continued commitment of Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration to effective partnerships for the betterment of our citizens. Nakwada assured.
