Zamfara students challenges to be innovative FAZAMSS Week – Dr. AbdulRauf

The Head of the Department of Public Administration Federal University Gusau, Dr. AbdulRauf Abdullahi testified the intellectuality of the teaming Youth in the state and called on the Zamfara State government to explore them for utilization to contribute their quarter for the development of the state.

Dr. AbdulRauf stated this while delivering his lecture presentation at the Federated Association of Zamfara State Students (FAZAMSS) Week held at Gusau Guest House in collaboration with NUZAMSS.

The Guest speaker, represented Dr. Aminu Idris Head of the Department of Political Science spoke on leadership, innovation and repositioning of Zamfara Students leadership for National Development.

Dr. AbdulRauf challenged Zamfara students to be innovative and unique and forget about flashy cars for self development.

“Forget about flashy cars, mansion and develop yourselves you reap the benefit later, Look beyond Zamfara and create something unique to market in the world, invest in your personal development.

“Challenge yourself beyond looking for money to ride exotic cars, own Zamfara State to take the challenge. Dr. AbduRauf said.

The Guest speaker, applauded the ICT initiative of Zamfara State Government for driving the state to the new era of ICT communication drive.

“We lecture these students, Zamfara Youth are intellectual and capable of driving the state forward, the state government need to utilize this resource. Dr. AbdulRauf urged.

The Guest speaker, prove that Innovation comes with enormous repositioning and development in the society.

The FAZAMSS National president, Comrade Nasiru Gamargiwa commended the state Governor, Dauda Lawal’s for prioritizing education sector.

Gamaggiwa said, the aimed of FAZAMSS Week was a clear purpose of changing the negative mindset of students that had turned their unionism into a business hub, and transform it into a platform for training, impactful leadership, towards positive development.

Former state Adviser on scholarship, comrade Lukuman Bisallah Majidadi called for the institutionalization of the required penalties on the ground of looting the union’s assert.

“The union needs to clearly state penalties to safeguard the assert of the students Union. It really pains me, the last student executive with a year old stole and sold two cars including the one more than 10 million naira. Majidadi called.

The Governor Dauda Lawal was represented by the state commissioner for Education Wadatau Madawaki as a chief launcher of the students magazine named after the female pioneer of Zamfara kingdom “Yargoje”

The students week was attended by Zamfara State Chairman of the Academic Union of University (ASUU) Comrade Abdulrahaman Adamu, Prof. Lawal Sa’ad DVC Administration FUGUS, Prof. Nasiru Anka, the state UBEB Chairman, Prof. Rasheedat Liman, state Executive Secretary Scholarship Board, Dr. Al-Ameen Tsafe among other academicians and politicians among others.
