Zamfara: Troops kill four terrorists, rescue 24 hostages.

Troops have rescued abducted persons at Kabugu in Zamfara State’s Maru Local Government Area.
According to Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director Army Public Relations, the operation, which took place in the early hours of Friday, July 7, resulted in the rescue of twenty four kidnapped people after a shootout with the abductors.
The troops, led by the Battalion’s Commanding Officer, stalked and swooped on the bandits, killing four of them in the ensuing gunfight.
