Tears flowed as petroleum tanker rammed into a commercial bus conveying 18 passengers in Agbor area on Wednesday evening.

It was learnt that all the 18 passengers on board perished in the fatal crash.

According to an eye witness, the crash was caused by the heavy downpour on Wednesday evening.

The deceased passengers were coming from Onitsha market, when their bus collided with the tanker along the Asaba-Benin Expressway, in Agbor.

The source said all the 18 passengers were burnt beyond recognition in the ghastly auto accident.

Efforts to reach the Delta State police command’s spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe for comment proved abortive.
