1year-in-office: Oborevwori Has Done Well – Ogie, Chairman DESOPADEC Contractors

Engr. Samson Ogie, Chairman of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Contractors Forum, has applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s exceptional performance during his first year in office.

In a congratulatory message, Ogie highlighted the governor’s impressive achievements, including the execution of numerous developmental projects across the state.

He noted that Governor Oborevwori had made a significant impact on the lives of people in oil and gas producing communities through DESOPADEC, with the implementation of outstanding projects benefiting rural riverine dwellers.

Ogie commended the governor for appointing dedicated and competent individuals to the DESOPADEC Board, who are committed to his MORE Agenda. He also acknowledged the Board’s prompt payment of indigenous contractors and requested approval for variations and increments for his members.

The DESOPADEC indigenous contractors forum assured their commitment to delivering quality projects on schedule, which will further enhance Governor Oborevwori’s reputation for infrastructure development when he marks his second year in office.

Ogie appealed to political leaders and stakeholders in the state to continue supporting and assisting Governor Oborevwori. On behalf of DESOPADEC indigenous contractors, he congratulated the governor and prayed for divine wisdom and good health to lead the state effectively.
