2023: Hon. Wilson Ayakpo consults family over call to contest Bayelsa West Senatorial Seat

The member representing Ekeremor constituency ll in Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha has consulted his maternal family in Delta state over a claron call on him by his constituents to contest for the Bayelsa West senatorial seat come 2023.

The visit was made during the weekend at Bebenimibo’s family residence at 12:pm in Warri, Delta state.

Congress gathered that based on the zoning arrangement, it was the turn of Ekeremor Local Government Area to represent Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the National Assembly come 2023.

It was learnt that the Sagbama Local Government Area would be completing its eight years (2 tenure) by 2023, according to the alleged zoning arrangement.

The Bebenimibo’s family assured Hon. Wilson Ayakpo of their unwavering support to make sure he comes out victorious in 2023 senatorial election.

The statement read: “We want you to listen to the clarion call by your constituents to contest for the Bayelsa West senatorial seat in 2023. We will support you wholeheartedly and make sure you win by the grace of God

“We, the Bebenimibo Family from Gbaramatu and Gbaramatu Kingdom at large in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State is behind you to support you. Go and win!. It is your turn”, Bebenimibo’s family echoed.

“You have made us proud by your sterling qualities as a lawmaker, representing the glorious people of Ekeremor Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

“Your matter is our matter and we will give you all the necessary support you need to ensure you win the Senatorial election in 2023. Be rest assured, you are the next Senator to represent the good people of Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

“We, will meet with the relevant stakeholders and solicit their support, make sure you win the forthcoming Bayelsa West Senatorial election in 2023”, Bebenimibo’s family reiterated.

“We, the Bebenimibo’s family will take this matter you have brought to us to our Leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias, Tompolo that our son and brother is contesting for the Bayelsa West Senatorial election in 2023, and we all will support you to come out victorious.

Among leaders of the family who spoke extensively during the consultative visit were Hon. Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Hon. Simeon Bebenimibo, Apst. Mathias Bebenimibo, Pastor David Bebenimibo, Pastor Mike Bebenimibo, Mr. Alex Bebenimibo (Chairman Bebenimibo’s Family) and Prince Meshach Bebenimibo.

While speaking, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo said he decided to consult his maternal family for guidance, due to their strong support and love for him.

However, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo who thanked Bebenimibo’s family for their love and support, said: “I will not let you down. I will bring infrastructural and human capital developments, social amenities, caring for the elderly and youths empowerments to all and sundry in Bayelsa West Senatorial District”.

Meanwhile, Hon. Wilson Ayakpo is reportedly hailed from the Oil rich Gbaramatu Kingdom maternally and he is also a cousin to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias, Tompolo.
