DSS Denies Apprehending CBN Governor, Emefiele

Following the suspension of Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, the Department of State Service, DSS, has denied apprehending him.

This is according to a release by the DSS Twitter page on Saturday, June 10.

Recall, Congress News had earlier reported how President Bola Tinubu showed Emefiele a way home.

His suspension was linked to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy.

However, the Deputy Governor of Central Bank now acting as the Central Bank Governor pending the conclusion of investigation and the reforms.
