Why I Didn’t Sign Wizkid, Davido – Don Jazzy Reveals

Nigerian music producer and executive, Don Jazzy has revealed why he didn’t sign Wizkid and Davido to his now defunct record label, Mo’hits.

He stated this during a podcast, Leaderboard, hosted by Fisayo Fosudo.

Don Jazzy stated that he couldn’t sign Wizkid because Banky W, who is the Chief Executive Officer of EME Records had already taken the step ahead to sign him.

However, regarding David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, he revealed that he willingly didn’t sign him because he believed Davido will thrive without the support of a record label.

Don Jazzy added that he regretted not signing artistes like Simi and Teni.
