NANS Hails River Basin Chief, Condemns Attacks

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended the leadership of a River Basin Authority chief for what it described as a commitment to development and student-friendly initiatives.

In a statement, the student body praised the chief’s efforts in supporting educational programmes, youth empowerment, and community development projects within the region. NANS noted that such contributions have created opportunities for students and improved the living conditions of communities under the basin authority.

At the same time, the association strongly condemned what it called “unwarranted attacks” against the chief, warning detractors to desist from acts that could distract from ongoing developmental strides.

NANS reaffirmed its readiness to stand by leaders who prioritize education and youth welfare, urging other public office holders to emulate the example.
