The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and continue to have faith in the nation, assuring that the current administration’s reforms are designed to bring long-term prosperity and stability.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the appeal while addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday. He noted that President Bola Tinubu’s administration remains committed to building a fair, inclusive, and progressive Nigeria, despite the temporary challenges caused by the ongoing economic reforms.

Idris emphasized that the government is aware of the difficulties many citizens are facing but stressed that the policies being implemented are necessary to strengthen the economy, attract investments, and create jobs.

He urged Nigerians not to lose confidence in the country, assuring that the sacrifices being made today will soon yield positive results. “Our message is simple — stay hopeful. The government is working tirelessly to ensure that no Nigerian is left behind as we rebuild the nation,” the minister said.

Political analysts have praised the government’s call for optimism, describing it as timely, especially as the administration faces pressure over the rising cost of living and fuel prices.
