Super Eagles Face Lesotho In Crucial World Cup Qualifier

THE Super Eagles will continue their push to secure a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup when they take on Lesotho later today at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The Nigerian team, captained by William Troost-Ekong, were held to a draw in their last outing against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana last month. So far, the Super Eagles have accumulated 11 points in the qualifiers, with just two matches remaining.
A victory over Lesotho today, followed by another potential win against Benin Republic on 14 October, could be enough to confirm Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup.
