Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Ogbonna Iwueke, popularly known as Crazeclown, has shared a humorous yet thought-provoking story about his friend who lives in the United States and recently purchased a firearm for self-defence.

According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Crazeclown revealed that his friend decided to buy a gun after having his first child, believing that owning one would provide safety and peace of mind in a country where gun violence is a major concern.

However, despite owning the weapon, the comedian disclosed that his friend had been robbed twice — first in his home and later in front of his garage. On both occasions, the gun was reportedly within reach, but fear of being shot prevented him from using it.

“It’s not just about having a gun,” Crazeclown wrote. “Can you actually bring it out when it’s time to use it? A bullet is so fast, it hits you before you hear the sound. The last robbery, they even stole the gun.”

The comic’s post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many users highlighting the irony of the situation and the broader issue of gun ownership and personal safety in the United States.
