A prominent Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore, has cautioned Nigerians against celebrating US President Donald Trump’s threat to launch military action in Nigeria. Sowore argues that such intervention would be perilous and disastrous for the country.

In a statement, Sowore emphasized that Nigeria’s problems require internal solutions, not foreign interference. He urged Nigerians to focus on building accountable leadership that protects all citizens, upholds justice, and ends corruption and violence.

“Donald Trump does not care about Nigerians, Christians, Muslims, or anyone else,” Sowore said. “Our deliverance will never come from abroad; it must come from within, through real leadership and national renewal.”

Sowore’s comments come amid growing concerns about foreign interference in Nigeria’s internal affairs. Many Nigerians have expressed skepticism about Trump’s motives, questioning whether his actions would serve the interests of Nigerians or Americans.

The activist’s statement has sparked a heated debate about Nigeria’s sovereignty and the role of foreign powers in the country’s affairs. As the situation continues to unfold, Nigerians are advised to remain vigilant and demand accountability from their leaders.
