A teenager accused of murdering a 14-year-old boy allegedly bragged about the killing in a rap video, a court has heard.

Three boys are standing trial at Manchester Crown Court over the death of Ibrahima Seck, who was fatally stabbed in the heart in New Moston, Manchester, while on his way to meet friends for a game of football.

The court heard that Ibrahima, 14, was attacked on 8 June 2025 and later died in hospital.

Prosecutors said two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old formed part of a group that had been threatening the victim, his family and his friends.

After a brief confrontation and a chase, Ibrahima reportedly slipped and fell. One of the defendants is said to have knelt over him and delivered the fatal stab wound to his chest.

The prosecution told the court that the boy who carried out the stabbing later filmed himself rapping and boasting, “we just done a murder”, before turning the camera to show a co-defendant. The clip, set to background music, was played to the jury.

Despite his injuries, Ibrahima managed to get up and run to a nearby house for help before he was taken to hospital, where he died.

Two women, Naomi Heavens, 39, and Keri Dobson, 37, are also on trial accused of helping the boys flee the area and providing them with fresh clothing. They deny assisting an offender.

All three teenage defendants deny murder and manslaughter.
