BREAKING: PDP expels Wike, others in Ibadan convention

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a major step to clean its house by expelling prominent members including the minister for FCT, Barr Nyesom Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade, Ayo Fayose, and Austin Nwachukwu for anti-party activities.

This decision, made at the PDP’s 2025 National Convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, aims to restore unity and discipline within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The expulsion was ratified by an overwhelming majority of delegates, demonstrating the party’s commitment to eliminating internal divisions and misconduct. This move marks a significant shift in the PDP’s approach, prioritizing party cohesion and progress.
