FG’ll use every instrument to ensure release.of abducted Kebbi schoolgirls — Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu had vowed that the Federal Government would use every instrument of the state to ensure the safe release of the abducted Kebbi schoolgirls.
Tinubu disclosed this on Wednesday when he sent the Vice-President Kashim Shettima to commiserate with the Government and people of Kebbi State on the abduction of 25 school girls of GGCSS Maga, Danko Wasagu.

President Tinubu, promised that no stone would be left unturned to ensure that the perpetrators of the dastardly act get the full weight of justice.
The President further said, “Kebbi, you are not alone, Nigeria stands with you.
“We shall not rest until your daughters, our daughters return to your warm embrace.”
According to Tinubu, the nation was sorrowful shaken with the unfortunate abduction of the 25 young schoolgirls.
He said that Kebbi’s pain was the pain of the entire nation, “when one child is taken, every home in this nation griefs.
“When girls, in the safety of their classrooms are seized by criminals, our collective conscience is assaulted.”
A statement by the Kebbi state special Adviser on media and publicity Yahaya sarki said, the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu commended the gallant officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces and other security agents for their courage, timelessness and sacrifices.

The president also lauded Dr. Nasir Idris for being steadfast, saying that the nation stands with him, the abducted girls and the people of the state.
Special tribute was paid to the late Brigadier General Musa Oba and the Vice Principal of the school, who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending the students.
He assured that their bravery will forever be honored and that their families will receive due care and support.
He added that the Federal Government will also take care of the daughters of the slain Vice Principal of the School.
Responding, Dr. Nasir Idris commended the President for his swift response to the unfortunate incident by dispatching Shettima for the historic visit.
The Kauran Gwandu also acknowledged the invaluable efforts of the various security agencies, vowing to continue partnering with them to ensure the safe rescue of the seized students.
Responding to questions from newsmen at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport Birnin Kebbi, shortly after he bade farewell to the Vice President, Governor Idris expressed deep regret over the unfortunate abduction of the schoolgirls.

He reiterated the unwavering commitment of his administration to ensure that the schoolgirls regain their freedom.
The Governor reaffirmed his unwavering confidence in the security agencies and assured that everything possible will be done to bring the girls back to their families, urging people of the State to continue to pray for lasting peace and for the safe return of the abducted schoolgirls.
He vowed that the enemies of doom would not deter him from delivering the much desired development to people of the State.
Governor Idris expressed appreciation to all working journalists for their factual reports and steadfastness in informing the populace.
