Organized Labour Suspends Strike In FCT, Directs Staff To Resume Duties

The Joint Union Action Committee, representing all FCTA Staff has called off it’s Industry action.

This follows a conciliatory Meeting with the Minister of the FCT, Nyesem Wike at the instance of the Chairman Senate Committee of FCT, Mohammed Bomoi.

At statement jointly signed the secretary general, TUC, Nuhu Toro and the Acting General Secretary of NLC, Benson Upah agrees that no worker shall be victimized for participating in the strike action, all outstanding cases at the National Industrial Court shall be withdrawn immediately.

Consequently, all JUAC members and all affiliates of TUC and NLC workers are directed to resume work immediately.
