Tantita Deserves Presidential Commendation For Performing Beyond Mandate, Says Group

Activist Moses Mala, says Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo’s Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd “deserves Presidential commendation for taking wind off sail of future agitations for environmental remediation that could, like Ogoniland, cost Federal Government reputational damage and multi-billion dollars”.

Speaking recently to newsmen in Asaba as leader of Advocacy for Niger Delta Development (ANDD), Mala said Tantita is the oil surveillance company to beat, adding that the Niger Delta environment will gain further restoration from a much prolonged contract tenure. He stressed that the unrivalled capacity of Tantita’s Chairman, Tompolo, his wider influence, his spirituality, patriotism, strategies, humility and maturity in conflict resolution–without which there would have been implosion in the Niger Delta–holds clear promise for sustaining growth of Nigeria’s oil-based economy”.

“Our environment is our life. Tantita has improved our environment in several ways beyond its mandate. Our lands, creeks and waterways which once supported our livelihoods were long lost to oil pollution, sea pirates and criminal socio-economic poverty. We now tell and sing a new song”, Mala said.

He clarified: “Our secure environment is reviving traditional fishing and farming occupation and other economic activities. Our secure environment is defying comments of Ex-Minister Rotimi Amaechi who once feared our environment cannot host Nigerian students in the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom. Led therein, pre-2023 election, by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu himself, now President, celebrities of different persuasions across the nation now yearly troop to Gbaramatu Kingdom, basking in the security of the Niger Delta due to Tantita’s well-coordinated works, thereby attracting investment”.

To Tantita’s detractors and naysayers, Mala stated: “Those who think that Nigeria’s oil production already improved upon by Tantita, will achieve Olympian heights overnight after suffering devastating lows before the surveillance contract are better left in their hallucinations. Also, Mr President is wiser than those who want to create a chaotic mass by demanding that every Tom, Dick and Harry be given an oil pipeline surveillance contract. The Tompolo mystique and phenomenon is on course and will eventually hit target oil production”.

“Tantita’s massive inter-ethnic employments across the Niger Delta flowing from Tompolo’s milk of human kindness, the entrepreneurship development schemes sponsored by Tantita’s MD, Engr Kestin Pondi, the purposed philanthropy of Engr Mathew Tonlagha, the health, education and other cares of Tantita, have largely stabilised the Niger Delta region. The Federal Government led by President Tinubu should quickly leverage on the peaceful environment to develop the region for whom the 13 percent derivation revenue which trickle to the oil communities more in rhetorics is again the reason for our 87 percent revenue deprivation in the Nigerian project”, Mala demanded.
