Presidential Community Engagement Team Day 2 On-the- Spot Assessment Of Angwan Rukuba Attack

The Presidential Community Engagement Team North Central has conducted day-2 on-the-spot documentation from eyewitness accounts on the RUKUBA -JOS attack.

It says the team at Angwan Rukuba in Jos North LGA, Plateau State has noticed that the curfew remains active from 3 pm to 8 am to maintain security and order.

Coordinating Victim Support and Burial Arrangements: The assessment confirmed that 13 victims had been buried with government support, while remaining burials are scheduled for next Tuesday. Families are being assisted with logistics and given flexibility in burial arrangements. The 25 deceased range in age from 23 to 76 years.

Guiding Stakeholder Engagements and Preventive Measures: Findings from the assessment continue to inform coordinated engagement with local authorities and stakeholders, strengthen community confidence, and contribute to efforts to prevent further violence.
