Youths of Egbema Kingdom in Warri North LGA have called on Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Mingo Friday Sayami Ogumaka, to contest for the newly created Warri North Constituency II seat in the Delta State House of Assembly.

The call was made during an emergency meeting of the Egbema New Political Wave, held after the Independent National Electoral Commission released the results of the Warri Federal Constituency delineation exercise. The meeting was presided over by former Egbema Youth Council Worldwide President, Comrade Kelvin City Eferusuoa.

Participants described Ogumaka as a dependable and selfless leader whose advocacy has advanced the development, unity, and recognition of Egbema Kingdom. They said his track record, grassroots connection, and commitment to justice made him well-suited to represent the constituency.

The group noted that the new constituency, which includes the Asigborodor and Awanba federal wards, offers a fresh opportunity for quality representation and inclusive development. “His emergence will bring purposeful leadership, visibility, and sustainable development to Warri North Constituency II,” the group stated.

The Egbema New Political Wave also commended INEC, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, traditional leaders, and other stakeholders for their role in the successful conclusion of the delineation process. They urged leaders and youth groups across Egbema Kingdom to back the initiative.

The youths said the appeal reflects a collective demand for credible, people-oriented leadership to drive progress in the area.
