Again, Odidi Community Directs Security Operatives to Arrest Okirikpa, Numah For Misinformation, Impersonation, Blackmail Against DSS, Police

The leadership of the Odidi Federated Community has called for the immediate arrest of Prince Preye Okirikpa and Clement Numah over alleged impersonation, misinformation, and blackmail against the Department of State Services, DSS, and the Nigeria Police Force.

In a response to the July 2, 2026 press statement purportedly authored by one Clement Numah, Chief Mamamu said there is no parallel leadership in Odidi, and that what some people like Okirikpa and his cohorts were doing in the community was driven by desperation and greed.

Chief Mamamu, the General Secretary of the community, said he had the authority to speak and sign on behalf of the Odidi Community in all matters.

“There is no parallel leadership in Odidi,” Chief Mamamu stated. “What Prince Okirikpa and his cohorts are doing is driven by desperation and greed.”

The community accused Okirikpa of “peddling misinformation, lies, and propaganda” under the guise of a “self-styled chairman” after his tenure expired. It alleged that the actions were aimed at defrauding unsuspecting members of the public and causing a breakdown of law and order.

The statement also faulted sections of the media for what it called “unprofessional and non-investigative” reporting. It alleged that some media outfits used AI-generated images to represent Odidi citizens, describing the act as “fraudulent, manipulative, and with potential legal implications.”

The community further denied that Okirikpa and his group held any press conference with Arise TV, Channels TV, AIT, NTA, or TVC, insisting such claims were false and intended to mislead the public. The community also ordered the arrest of media houses involved in such fraudulent practices.

The leadership warned oil firms, including Heritage Energy Operational Services, as well as government institutions and security agencies, not to engage with Okirikpa in order to avoid being linked to “fraudulent activities.”

The community, however called on the Director of the Department of State Services, DSS and the commissioner of Nigerian Police Force, Delta State to swing into action ensuring that Preye Okirikpa, Clement Numah and their sponsors be arrested without further delay to avoid continuing misinformation, blackmail against the security agencies and break down of law and order in Odidi community and Delta State.
