Nigeria @66: Chief Moni Hails Tompolo, Tonlagha, Otuaro For N-Delta Peace, Security, Job creation, Others

Chief Ebis Moni, Pioneer President of the Meinbutus Community, Warri, Delta State has hailed High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, Engr. Mathew Tonlagha, MD Maton Nigeria Limited and Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
In his Independence Day statement, the Sokorewei of Operemor Kingdom commended the trio for their contributions to the region.
Chief Moni described their efforts as “uncommon contributions towards the development of the Niger Delta,” noting that their interventions have brought visible hope to many communities.
He said High Chief Tompolo has remained a pillar of “security and peace in the Niger Delta area,” adding that his commitment to protecting national assets and maintaining stability is “worthy of national recognition.”
On Engr. Mathew Tonlagha, he praised his dedication to “empowerment and job creation,” stressing that his support for youths and entrepreneurs has “reduced restiveness and created sustainable livelihoods” in the region.
He also lauded Dr. Dennis Otuaro for repositioning the Presidential Amnesty Programme, saying his leadership has restored “confidence, transparency and purpose” to the programme and ensured that ex-agitators and youths are being “properly reintegrated and empowered for a better future.”
Chief Moni urged all Niger Deltans to continue to support leaders who promote peace, unity and development as Nigeria marks its independence anniversary.
