The Amanaowei of Bolou Ndoro community in the Operemor Kingdom, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Pa Yeipeigha Onuama, has said the kingdom has not elected any traditional ruler as insinuated in some quarters, adding that any person parading himself as a king in the kingdom is an impostor.

While admonishing sons and daughters of the kingdom to be calmed, he said due process would be followed to install a new traditional ruler in the kingdom.

Pa Onuama, in a statement, appealed to sons and daughters of the kingdom to remain calm and ensure that a traditional ruler that would be accepted would emerge in line with the kingdom’s constitution and procedures.

The Amanaowei, enjoined the public not to recognize any person parading himself as the traditional ruler of the kingdom, stating that they would use the instrumentality of the law to bring to book any impostor and his cohorts in the kingdom.

He, however, maintained that the public would be notified when a traditional ruler is selected in the kingdom, noting that all efforts to scuttle enemies of the kingdom are in progress.
