Just In: Egbema announces Egin as Pere designate
The Egbema Council of Chiefs comprising Warri North of Delta and Ovia South West of Edo States have announced Napoleon Egin Esq as Pere-designate, the Beni-Pere lV, the Agadagba of Egbema kingdom on Monday 17, 2022.The announcement was made by the eldest man of the Ofunama community, the administrative headquarters of Egbema kingdom, Pa Abudu Eyituoyo Poweide and was flanked by the traditional Council of Chiefs.
The announcement was followed by presentation of six names by Igbudugbudu Royal house October 1.
Congress learnt that the kingdom’s king makers converged on Monday at Ofunama, the oldest community and administrative headquarters of the kingdom to make the proclamation.The chiefs who presided over the process were Chief David Bubor JP, (Toripuwei of Egbema kingdom), Chief W.E Igbiriki, JP, (the Obuoyim of Egbema kingdom), Chief Joseph Owilly JP, (the Funpuwei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Simon Igbetikuru, JP, (the Perekoriwei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Amb. Ebi Eyenmi JP, (Ibe-Egbewei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Israel Agadigha, (The Torinwei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Linus Oroupa, (Ebetaribolouwei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Ojugbami Ala, (Odimiwei of Egbema kingdom).
Others are Chief Fidisegha Joseph, (the Banawei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Dighijor Raphael, (Tubinghawei of Egbema kingdom), Chief Gas Julius Marroh, (the Aberewei of Abere of Egbema kingdom), Chief Kehinde Somoh, Chief L.E Tiemo, Chief Festus Oduwan, Chief Ikantu NIS, (Peremieyegha of Egbema kingdom) among others.
