JUST IN: Rampaging Protesters set banks on fire in Rivers over naira scarcity
Rampaging Protesters have allegedly stormed the Diobu and Mile 1 areas of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, and set banks on fire on Friday morning.
The protest which broke out following frustration of accessing cash paralyzed commercial activities in the area.
Footage showed banks being set on fire by angry protesters while men are marching on the streets of the state protesting.
However, residents living in that area have been advised to stay indoors due to gunshots being heard.
