Renowned political leader and Coordinator of Delta Political Vanguard, (DPV) Burutu Local Government chapter, Chief Abadegbene Chadwick has congratulated Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele on appointment as commissioner of the ministry of housing in Delta State.

This is according to a statement which he signed by himself and a copy was sent to a Congress news correspondent on Friday.

He said Angele’s appointment is a square peck in a square hole, noting that he had done his best to put the Delta Political Vanguard in a good light.

Abadegbene said Angele had shown capacity while serving as chairman of Burutu Local Government Council in the state, stressing that he would deliver on his mandate as commissioner of the Ministry of Housing.

The Delta Vanguard coordinator, however, applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for deeming it fit to appoint a credible son of Burutu as commissioner of housing in the state.

The statement reads, “I want to thank our governor for what he has done for our people, for selecting a creditable person to be appointed as commissioner to serve Delta people. I know Angele will carry the Burutu and Delta people along.

“We appreciate the governor for his good works, I want him to do more to mitigate our suffering as Burutu people.

“It is our prayer that God should give the governor of Delta State and our son Angele the needed wisdom, knowledge and understanding to rule Deltans to achieve the good policies they have schemed out for the state,” he said.

He further appealed to Governor Oborevwori to consider the Burutu people for more laudable appointments to address the political misfortunes of the Burutu people as Oliver asked for more.
