Again, the military has reportedly bombarded the Udouda community in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, killing yet-to-be-disclosed persons as several others sustained various degrees of bullet injuries on Saturday.

A community source who spoke to Congress newspaper said several houses in the community were also bombed to rubbles on Saturday military air raid.

The incident occurred Saturday 7: at 30am when the military air-raided the community over alleged bunkering activities in the area.

It was learned residents of the community fled to the nearby forest for safety and since had not returned.

The source said the attack was carried out by both land and air forces. Several gunboats and a fighter jet were deployed in the brutal attack.

It was gathered survivors who scampered for safety have not returned to the community since Saturday. However, efforts to reach out to the military spokesman in Rivers state for comment proved abortive.
