APC members defect to PDP in Delta

Crack in the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State as hundreds of its members have defected to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, citing endless infighting in the party.

The defectors of APC among others from APGA were received by the State PDP chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso and the governor of the state Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at the party’s Mega rally at Ozoro on Saturday.

While received the defectors, the party’s chairman said APC is a ‘sinking sand’, adding that before the 2023 general election the last man (Omo-Agege) would abandoned his unrealistic governorship ambition and defect to PDP.

The governor on his part, expressed gratitude to members of APC and APGA for seeing PDP has the only party to pledge allegiance for, adding that their decision was an holy step to join the real progressives to rescue Nigeria from APC reign of terror and hardship.
