The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has challenged Peter Obi to provide evidence to support his claim that he won the 2023 presidential election.

In a statement, the council’s spokesperson, Dele Alake, criticised comments made by the former Anambra State governor during a recent media interview with the BBC.

The council described Obi’s remarks as misleading and urged him to stop making claims about the 2023 election without presenting supporting evidence.

The statement further reaffirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

It added that Tinubu’s administration has continued to implement key economic reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which the council says are helping to stabilise the economy.
